Great British Balls!

Great British Balls!

by Sarah Jane Vickery February 09, 2018

This is a real product! Can you believe it. Only in the UK or so I understand.
Thanks to my friend Taylor who never fails to find me some treasures like this pic he snapped in Boots. I don’t normally include photos in my illustrations but in this case seeing is believing.
One of the reasons I moved to the UK was to be inspired by the incredible talent of it’s designers and this certainly leaves nothing to be desired. I wonder if they will export to Canada?!

Chocotonin: the answer for Chocoholics

So don’t try this at home! I was reading Wired to Eat by Robb Wolf and he talked about an experiment they did to improve the gut micro biome of mice. Apparently they took gut biome from overweight mice and put it into lean mice and it made the lean mice develop the diabetic symptoms of weight gain and insulin resistance. They flipped it and also tried helping improve the gut biome of overweight mice with that of lean mice. Maybe we will be doing this for humans soon?! Tons of cool ideas in Robb Wolf’s book; I’m inspired to do a few more posts!
